Terms of Service

These terms govern access to Mantrix private zero-knowledge encrypted storage, including the web dashboard, storage APIs, account management tools, and related support channels.

Mantrix provides private zero-knowledge encrypted storage. Mantrix does not possess user decryption keys and cannot inspect, classify, search, or interpret plaintext file contents.

Users are solely responsible for ensuring that uploaded and stored data is lawful, does not violate third-party rights, and complies with applicable rules. Privacy is not permission to violate the law.

Mantrix may preserve, restrict access to, suspend, or purge specifically identified accounts or encrypted data objects when a valid request, infringement notice, or abuse report is sufficiently specific. Mantrix cannot comply with requests for plaintext contents or decryption keys it does not possess, and requests must identify the relevant account, object, manifest, or data target.

You must keep account credentials secure, maintain any recovery information needed to access your data, and use the service only for lawful storage. You may not use Mantrix to store data that violates law, infringes intellectual property rights, invades privacy, enables fraud, distributes malware, or otherwise causes unlawful harm.

Because Mantrix cannot see plaintext contents, account and object identifiers matter. If you contact us about a file or account, provide the most specific identifiers you can, such as account email, object ID, manifest ID, or other target information.

Mantrix reviews legal requests and abuse reports through a documented notice-and-action workflow. We do not automatically approve requests, and immediate deletion is not the default first step. Where appropriate, Mantrix may restrict access, preserve encrypted data, place a legal hold, or take other targeted action while a case is reviewed.
