Lawful Storage Only

Mantrix provides private zero-knowledge encrypted storage for lawful backup, archive, and data protection use cases. The service may not be used to store data that is illegal, malicious, fraudulent, infringing, privacy-invasive, or otherwise abusive.

Mantrix provides private zero-knowledge encrypted storage. Mantrix does not possess user decryption keys and cannot inspect, classify, search, or interpret plaintext file contents.

Users are solely responsible for ensuring that uploaded and stored data is lawful, does not violate third-party rights, and complies with applicable rules. Privacy is not permission to violate the law.

Mantrix may preserve, restrict access to, suspend, or purge specifically identified accounts or encrypted data objects when a valid request, infringement notice, or abuse report is sufficiently specific. Mantrix cannot comply with requests for plaintext contents or decryption keys it does not possess, and requests must identify the relevant account, object, manifest, or data target.

Prohibited Conduct

You may not use Mantrix to distribute malware, conduct fraud, impersonate others, violate privacy rights, evade lawful process, interfere with service integrity, or store content that you are not legally entitled to store.

Mantrix does not proactively moderate encrypted user-stored content because it cannot inspect plaintext contents. Reports must therefore provide specific identifiers that allow targeted review without searching user files by description.

Response

Abuse reports may be submitted through the reporting page or sent to abuse@mantrix.cc. Mantrix may request more information, reject vague reports, validate sufficiently specific reports, restrict access to encrypted objects, freeze accounts, place legal holds, or close a case after review.
